Pawdometer

Pawdometer for multiple dogs

One walk, two dogs, two honest records

A mile is 8,000 paw steps for a Labrador and 30,000 for a Chihuahua. Pawdometer records the walk once and works out each dog's own numbers from their own height and weight, with separate streaks and awards.

The live walk screen with a "Who's walking?" picker showing two dogs.

Pick who is walking

Start the walk, tap the dogs who are coming. The route and distance are measured once; each dog gets their own paw steps and calories from their own profile.

Separate streaks and awards

The day the big dog goes out alone, the small dog's record says so. Each dog has their own flame, level and awards, so neither record is padded by the other's walk.

Sized for the smaller dog

The joint walk is as long as the smaller or older dog can manage; the app shows what that distance cost each of them, which is the number that settles whether the bigger dog needs a second walk.

Share cards for each

Walk posters name every dog who came, with the estimate note that keeps it honest.

Questions

How many dogs can I add?

As many as you walk. Each has its own profile, height, weight, ideal weight and history.

Do both dogs get the same distance?

The same GPS distance, yes, because they walked it together. The paw steps, calories and share of daily need differ because the dogs do.

Can I walk one dog without the other?

Yes. Pick only the dogs who are walking and the stay-at-home dog's streak and totals are untouched by that walk.

Every walk counted for the one who actually walks it.
